Unlike other induction talks you'll attend, we've crowd-sourced topics from 100s of current students. This means we're sharing all the essential information current students want YOU to know. Meet your Transition Mentor (Undergraduate students)

If you are a first-year, undergraduate student, you will meet your Transition Mentor in Welcome Week at your department 'Meet your Mentor' session. Your department will let you know when this is taking place. The session will cover:Ìý

  • Introduction to the Transition Mentor Programme by Senior Mentors,
  • Meet your Transition Mentor and Mentor Group,
  • Introductions, icebreaker activities and information to help you get started at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø.Ìý

If you miss the session and haven’t been able to meet your mentor, speak to your Departmental Administrator or email transition@ucl.ac.uk. More information about the Transition Programme can be found on the Transition Mentor Programme website.Ìý


International Student EventsÌý

Graduate ResearchersÌýÌý

Doctoral School Online Information EventÌýÌý

This is an online session for all new doctoral researchers, featuring speakers from the Doctoral School, and other key research teams. The event will:Ìý

  • Highlight training and development opportunities.ÌýÌý

This in-person event will have a panel of doctoral researchers to share their experiences. There will be an opportunity to ask questions of the panel.
