Your journey to joining Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø

Follow these steps to learn everything you need to know and do as a new student joining Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø.

Step 1: New student funding advice

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Student Funding Advisors can help with a range of advice. Once you have completed pre-enrolment, you can book appointments with them. 

Step 2: Accommodation

Step 3: Pre-enrolment stages for new students

Pre-enrolment is your first stage to becoming a fully enrolled student.

Step 4: Visa document guidance

If you are not from the UK or Ireland we need to check your right to study to complete your enrolment.

Step 5: Pre-arrival events

Student advisors speak to new students and an event.

We know it can feel intimidating starting university or a degree. Our Pre-Arrival events are designed to help you get prepared.

Step 6: IT information

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø staff and students work on PCs at desks.

After you've pre-enrolled, you can find out more about IT at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø.

Step 7: Online induction for new students

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø students work at desktop computers.

 Read information for undergraduate and graduate taught students.

Step 8: Module selection

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø fair event on main campus.

Once you are pre-enrolled or fully enrolled you will be invited to select your module preferences via Portico under My Studies.

Step 9: How to get to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø

Find your way around Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø's Bloomsbury Campus or Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø East.

Step 10: Collecting your Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø student ID card

Student is handed Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø ID card.

Your Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø ID card gives you full access to buildings across our campuses and enables you to borrow books from Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø libraries.

Step 11: Collecting your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) card

Once you arrive in the UK, you may need to collect your full student visa, known as a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP).

Step 12: Induction talks

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø staff and students giving a Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø welcome week talk.

Once you arrive at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø, our Induction Talks will provide the essential information you need to know about starting your programme.
