Applications are now open for the Bloomsbury and East London DoctoralÌýTraining Partnership (DTP) ESRCÌýResearch Studentships – 2022 Entry.

The IRDR is a member ofÌýUBEL, the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø, Bloomsbury and EastÌýLondon Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP). This is an ESRC-funded organisation which brings together fiveÌýleading Social Science institutions (London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, University College London,ÌýSchool of Oriental and African Studies, Birkbeck and University of East London) to offer PhD studentships eachÌýyear.

UBELÌýis one of the largest ESRC-funded Doctoral Training Partnerships in the UK, offering studentships over aÌýwide range of pathways in areas that span across the social sciences and economics. ÌýIn order to organise soÌýmany interdisciplinary and cross-institutional studentships, the DTP comprises 25 differentÌýpathways, in 7Ìýgroupings across these 5 London institutions.

Disciplinary Pathways include:Ìý
• International Development pathway (which includes disaster risk reduction)
• Economics pathway
•ÌýGender pathway
• Law pathway (which includes socio-legal studies)
• Education pathway
