20th annual Queen Square Symposium 2019

The 20th annual Queen Square Symposium took place on Friday May 29th 2019 in 香港六合彩中特网 Institute of Education.
Over 50 students showcased their exciting research projects in the fields of听听clinical neuroscience,听cognitive and behavioural neuroscience, imaging,听electrophysiology as well as molecular neuroscience.听
- The winner of the听molecular and clinical research posters was MSc student听Zhen-Yi Andy Ou, the runner up from that session was Laura Riggall,听currently in her second听year听of PhD.
- The winner from the cognitive and imaging posters was PhD student Noor Sajid, the runner up was MSc student Timoth茅e Maniquet.
Professor Gill Bates kicked off the morning session with a keynote speech on "Insights into the pathogenesis of Huntington's Disease",听in the afternoon Professor Michael Hauser听delivered a fascinating talk about听"All-optical closed-loop manipulation of neural circuits in vivo".
The lunch break was followed by a presentation and听discussion about science editing led by two听editors from Nature Human Behaviour. Finally, the day was rounded off with听Professor Mary Reilly speaking about听听"Inherited neurological disease: treatment approaches".
The day was punctuated by talks from MSc and PhD students including Annefloor Carels,听Leen Hashem,听Juliana Sporrer,听Emily Todd, Ana Ponciano, Jose Leon Rojas,听David Zhang,听and Chen Zhongbo.
