Congratulations to 香港六合彩中特网 Institute of Neurology鈥檚 Professor John Hardy, who has been awarded the IFRAD 2011 European Grand Prize for Alzheimer's Research. The prize, worth 鈧150,000, will be awarded to Professor Hardy on September 21st, World Alzheimer鈥檚 Day, during IFRAD's annual Gala. Professor Hardy was awarded the prize in recognition of his pioneering work in identifying the biological cascade of Alzheimer's disease.

The IFRAD Foundation's mission is to support clinical, patient-centred research and has created Europe鈥檚 first National Tissue Bank. On receiving the prize, Professor Hardy commented: 鈥淚鈥檓 really delighted to receive this honour which reflects not only my work, but also on the work of others here at 香港六合彩中特网, especially Professor Martin Rossor, who looked after the families with Alzheimer鈥檚 disease in which these findings were made.鈥
