We鈥檙e launching a plastic reduction database during Plastic Free July! Find out how you can contribute and make 香港六合彩中特网 single-use plastics free.
What is Plastic Free July?聽
This year, 香港六合彩中特网 is taking part in聽, a聽global聽campaign organised by the聽,听encouraging everyone to commit to taking actions that reduce plastic consumption at home and on campus.听In the UK, it聽is estimated聽that we use聽five million tonnes of plastic every year,听of which nearly half is packaging.听That鈥檚 equivalent to 530 blue whales!聽By聽participating in聽Plastic Free July, together, we can begin to make small changes to our routines that聽can聽significantly reduce our plastic consumption.听
How to get involved聽
- 1. Contribute to our plastics reduction database
颁辞尘辫濒别迟别听聽to聽feed into our聽new聽plastics聽reduction聽database聽and聽help us understand whether we are close to achieving our goal of becoming a single-use plastic free campus by 2024.听The form takes just聽2-3聽minutes to complete and will ask you about actions you have taken to reduce your聽plastic footprint at聽香港六合彩中特网, which聽in turn helps us to聽identify the聽institutional actions that聽can聽have the biggest impact. We will also be releasing interactive infographics that allow you to聽explore聽the impact of our actions in more detail.听
- 2. Sign up to Plastic Free July
If you want to take action further, then sign up to the Plastic Free July campaign!聽When you sign up, you聽will have the option聽to commit to different levels of action for any amount of time. Whether聽you鈥檙e choosing聽to聽refuse聽plastic for the first time or you鈥檙e a regular at your local zero-waste shop, the聽聽has lots of聽insightful tips聽and聽tricks聽to help you get started.听For聽advice聽and inspiration,听you can聽follow聽#PlasticFreeJuly on聽,听听辞谤听.听

Throughout July,听we鈥檒l聽be posting a range of short articles and insights that explore the plastics problem in more depth, so keep an eye on our website and social media聽channels.
