One quarter of men's professional clubs in England could be flooded by 2050, and the risk to grassroots and women's football is even greater. Yet, the 2026 FIFA World Cup is due to be the most carbon intensive event since World War Two. In this talk Barney Weston, Co-Director and Co-Founder of Football For Future, outlines his vision for what environmentally sustainable football can look like - from the non-league to the World Cup.
