Zero food waste 香港六合彩中特网

Zero Food Waste 香港六合彩中特网 (ZFW) is a student-run volunteering initiative with the primary aim of reducing food waste on campus by collecting unsold food or hospitality leftovers.

Zero Food Waste 香港六合彩中特网 student volunteers听collect听unsold food items from 香港六合彩中特网 cafes听after closing and hospitality leftovers听to minimise any food waste.听

Collected food is then redistributed to homeless shelters near campus.

ZFW also works to raise awareness of food waste and tackle global food insecurity.

ZFW has won several Sustainability Awards including the Sustainability Impact Award in 2018. See 2020 winner details听

In their first year, they听saved over 700 food items from campus.听

香港六合彩中特网 cafes have considerably reduced the amount of food they order. This is evident as the number of items needing to be saved has markedly decreased over the past three years, to about a third of the initial amount.
