4 February 2020

Dr Ellie Cosgrave, Lecturer in Urban Innovation and Policy in Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø STEaPP, has been awarded funding through Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø’s Performance Lab to create an artist-performer work based on her EPSRC funded research.

The funding will be used to develop a cross-discipline collaboration that builds on Dr Cosgrave’s research on the interrelationship between gender and urban infrastructure. The project, titled You Move Me, will be developed in collaboration with artist and incorporate her research on civic histories and labour and the ways information is passed from one person to another through movement.

Dr Cosgrave and Laura will work alongside Camden residents to explore their personal relationship with mobility in the city and how this relates to their personal histories. The project will be presented as part of the 2020 Performance Lab in May.

The programme is part of Performance Lab, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø’s experimental programme that brings research to life on stage through art, theatre, dance, music, comedy and everything in-between. Performance Lab aims to build relationships between Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø researchers, Camden residents and external artists, and create opportunities for knowledge exchange between the communities.
