Sofia Olhede, Professor of Statistical Science and Deputy Director of CoMPLEX, will be delivering a popular lecture on patterns in nature as part of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø lunch hour lecture series on 17 October 2013. The lecture will cover her work in quantifying patterns from Oceanography and Neuroscience using techniques for extracting structured patterns.
