- 2. Report a data breach (including ‘near misses’)
The GDPR introduces a duty on all organisations to report certain types of personal data breach to the relevant supervisory authority. This must be done immediately.

If an incident (or near miss) involves personal data then it must be reported immediately to the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Information Security Group.Ìý

- 4. Report a hazard or dangerous situation
If you notice a hazard that is likely to cause harm to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø staff or visitors or ring the customer helpdesk immediately on 020 7679 0000 or Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø ext. 30000.

As well as calling the Helpdesk, you will need to:
- Report the hazard on (users with access may continue to use ).Ìý
- Raise a service requestÌýif any repair work is required.
If there is no immediate risk (i.e. the hazard has been removed), you only need to report the hazard. Ìý

- acute onset of illness while at work (not including minor illnesses such as colds);

Once you have informed Security please complete and return a theft report form.Ìý
You should also report any crime to the police. Either call them on 101 or visit them at Holborn Police Station, 10 Lamb's Conduit Street, WC1N 3NR, where you will be issued a Crime Reference Number.Ìý

- 8. Report contamination or damage to land, air, water, plant or animal life
Tell us if you see something that has or that is likely to cause harm to the natural environment e.g. pollution, spills of hazardous substances or issues that affect our local community e.g. excessive noise or litter.

What is an environmental incident?
- Spills of hazardous substances (including anything packaged and marked as dangerous goods for transport e.g. petroleum).
- Legal and/or nuisance implication to the surrounding environment, be that affecting flora and fauna or local communities e.g.Ìýnoise or litter pollution.Ìý
- Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø activity exceeding environmental permit or external reporting requirements and any notifications.Ìý
Please log a pollution incident via .Ìý
For issues such as blocked drains, roof leaks, indoor air quality, odour issues or internal noise complaints, please raise a service request.
What do I do if the situation is dangerous?
In case of an emergency where there is a threat to people's safety, such as a petrol leak, contact Security immediately.ÌýYou can call +44 (0)20 7679 2222 or Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø ext. 222 from any Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø phone OR use the SafeZone app to contact the security switchboard. Security can guide emergency services to the correct location if they are required to attend.Ìý
For urgent instances of contamination that do not pose a risk of harm, you can contactÌýthe Customer Helpdesk online on 020 7679 0000 or Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø ext. 30000.
