Last month, Jennifer Hudson, Dean of the Faculty of Social & Historical Sciences, was delighted to announce the appointment of four new Vice-Deans for the Faculty, which will play an important role in developing and delivering the Faculty鈥檚 strategic initiatives. 聽

• Professor Andrew Bevan, Vice-Dean Post-Graduate Research & Faculty Graduate Tutor
• Professor Sue Hamilton, Vice-Dean Research and Global Engagement
• Dr Julie Norman, Vice-Dean Advancement and Alumni

Mark, Andrew, Sue and Julie will bring new energy and focus to the Faculty鈥檚 work in these important areas.聽We look forward to welcoming colleagues into their new roles.

鈥�I聽am extremely pleased to be working with SHS鈥檚 new Vice Deans, Mark Altaweel, Andrew Bevan, Sue Hamilton and Julie Norman. Our first task will be to ensure that the Faculty has a new strategic plan to enable our work over the next five years. Each of them brings a great deal of expertise and enthusiasm to their role and I am excited to work alongside them to further world-class research, education and external engagement in the Faculty.鈥�
