The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Department of Security and Crime Science conducts its research through the Jill Dando Institute, the first institute in the world devoted to crime science.

Research is conducted across several institutes and research groups focussing on new ways to cut crime and increase security, drawing upon Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø's vast experience in related disciplines, including architecture, economics, engineering, geography, medicine, psychology, statistics and town planning.

We've developed aÌýseries of papers focused on the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic for police agencies and other organisations with an interest in the topic.
