How Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø research is improving lives in LMICs

Through a collaborative effort by Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø academics, we are collecting impact success stories that show how Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø research is improving the lives of people in low and middle income countries (LMICs). These stories demonstrate the impact of research projects with partnerships in LMICs, from introducing a new approach to research on heritage, history and the humanities to improving access to education and tackling global health issues.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø’s community is also playing a leading role in responding to the challenges set out in the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF)

In the academic year 2020-21, approximately £1.6 million was awarded to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø researchers through the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF): Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Internal Small Grants call, to support Official Development Assistance (ODA) compliant research.
