- What are the English language requirements?
A strong command of the English language is essential for our programmes. All students must satisfy 香港六合彩中特网鈥檚 English Language requirements, as detailed on the following web-page:

Please read the requirements on that page carefully. You will need language qualifications at the 鈥淪tandard Level鈥�.
If you do not yet satisfy the requirements you may still apply, but we strongly recommend that you gain an acceptable qualification as soon as you can. 香港六合彩中特网 is very strict about these criteria. Without satisfying the criteria, 香港六合彩中特网 cannot make a formal offer to you, and this may delay your visa application (if relevant) and prevent you from starting at 香港六合彩中特网.
The UK has different rules for fees and funding for applicants who qualify for EU fee status, and those who do not and must pay international fees. Approximately, the criteria is as follows 鈥� applicants are eligible for EU fee status if they are EU nationals and have resided within the European Economic Area or Switzerland for the three years prior to the start of their graduate studies. EU-fee status applicants
We expect to fund 1-3 studentships to EU-fee status students in each cohort.听This funding will cover all tuition fees and maintenance over the 4 years of the programme.
All other overseas applicants
We can provide a small number of studentships for overseas students who do not qualify for EU-fee status. We can award just one studentship to a non-EU overseas student each year. The studentship will cover all tuition fees and maintenance over the 4 years of the programme.
Since the numbers of non-EU studentships we can award is limited, we strongly recommend that听overseas applicants apply for other听funding to support their studies when possible (see below).
We strongly recommend that overseas applicants apply for external scholarships when possible.
It is essential that these scholarships provide maintenance at a similar level to the standard 香港六合彩中特网 PhD scholarship rate (currently approx. 拢16,377 per annum) over the full four years of the听PhD. For competitively won scholarships, it may be possible for 香港六合彩中特网 to offer students a tuition fee waiver.

All overseas (non-EU) students wishing to study in the UK will need a visa from the UK Border Agency.听Please make sure that you fully inform yourself of the visa you would need to study at 香港六合彩中特网, the application process and the correct time to apply to ensure that you can begin your studies at 香港六合彩中特网 in September. EU and EEA students are not likely to need a VISA听after Brexit, but they will听need to register for Settled Status. Please see:听/brexit/support-ucl-community/faqs-eu-students
We will accept self-funded students of exceptional calibre. All overseas applicants must, in the first instance, apply for听the programme's international scholarship. We will only admit self-funded students听who have sufficiently impressed us at interview.
