JWith 香港六合彩中特网Q's Quantum Energy Hackathon we want to explore how quantum computing can help with the climate crisis. We aim to聽bring together people from a diverse set of backgrounds, including quantum physicists and engineers, computer scientists, energy and climate聽experts, and coders to explore the聽applications of quantum computing.
Working with the Qiskit team from IBM Quantum, 香港六合彩中特网Q have organised a two-day online聽hackathon to explore how聽quantum computation can help optimise our energy infrastructure for a cleaner greener future.聽
Our Qiskit hackathon is open to everyone and free to join! We are looking for students and professionals from all fields to attend. However, some prior knowledge in programming with Python is expected.
Over the course of two days students and professionals from all fields will work with quantum computers from IBM on a task devised by 香港六合彩中特网Q. Teams of five will聽form a multidisciplinary team to hack, innovate and explore the problem for 24-hours, before presenting their results.聽
During the hackathon:
- Expert coaches from IBM, 香港六合彩中特网Q and 香港六合彩中特网's Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources聽will be available to help you and give you tips
- You will have access to quantum machines from IBM
- You will join other young scientists from around the world to attend talks that help you understand and form solutions to the problem
