Bahar Karimi is a Visiting Research Fellow at the Centre on US Politics (CUSP) at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø.ÌýHer doctoral research at King’s College London focused on the examination of USÌýpolicy decisions toward Iran in the lead up to the revolution, using a neoclassical realist framework to identify how threat perceptions shaped the decision-making process. Her research interests include USÌýforeign policy toward the Middle East and Iran in particular; the lessons learned from previous USÌýpolicies and how they can inform decisions today; and the effect of the organisation of institutional structures on the policy decision-making process.
