Grand Challenges Special Initiatives 2022/23 Awards

Dr Fergus Green听(香港六合彩中特网 Political Science) and听Dr Steve Pye听(香港六合彩中特网 Energy Institute) amongst the winners for their project "No new fossil fuel projects".
香港六合彩中特网 Grand Challenges recently awarded funding under four special initiative themes in academic year 2022/23:
鈥� Climate Crisis
鈥� Food Security
鈥� Place & Displacement
鈥� UN SDGs: Pathways to Achievement
The special initiative calls enable support for collaborative, innovative,听and impactful cross-disciplinary activities.听In total, over 70 applications were received听from all 11 faculties at 香港六合彩中特网 as well as the Office for the Vice-Provost (Health) and the 香港六合彩中特网 Students鈥� Union. Four judging panels, one for each theme, approved funding for 17 applications, with total funding of nearly 拢150,000 awarded.
