Bridget Yu Yuen Ning, a 2^nd year student on the has been awarded an to investigate early language change in people subsequently diagnosed with dementia. 

Bridget will use automated tools developed within the Department of Language & Cognition at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø to conduct her research. She will examine longitudinal samples of writing from the novelist Iris Murdoch and the speech of President Ronald Reagan, both of whom were subsequently were diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease.
