MyÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø's weekly all-student e-newsletter, recently interviewed Frida Arthur, a Linguistics student, about her experiences at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø.

Frida has always been really interested in language and communication, and linguistics allows her to gain insight into how language works. She says: "We often take for granted our ability to produce and process language – the underlying mechanisms that allow us to do this are very complex and interesting".

Frida's hidden gem at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø is the Quad on a bright sunny day. She says "it’s pretty awesome to think that on any given day thousands of students walk across it – all with different stories and ambitions."
