Gene therapy partly restores cone receptors in eyes of children born colourblind

Gene therapy has partly restored the function of cone receptors in two children born completely colourblind, reports a study led by Dr Tessa Dekker (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Institute of Ophthalmology and Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Psychology & Language Sciences) and Dr Michel Michaelides (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Institute of Ophthalmology).
