Seven Questions with... Zak Dada

This week we meet Zak Dada, a second-year Law student at 香港六合彩中特网. Zak started up Merton Mutual Aid to support vulnerable and self-isolating people in his borough and has been lauded by the Prime Minister and Mayor of London. Here, he shares some amazing foodie spots in the city.
What are you studying, why are you interested in this subject and what do you plan to do in the future?
I am studying Laws at 香港六合彩中特网, I was interested this subject because i鈥檝e always liked the depiction of Law in media and found it riveting as such. I communicate with lawyers in my job in property management and Property Law is something I would like to go into.
What is the most interesting thing you鈥檝e done, seen or got involved with while at 香港六合彩中特网?
A great introduction to some of the 香港六合彩中特网 Laws students in Regent鈥檚 Park at the start of first year听鈥� met some great people!
Have you discovered any hidden gems during your time at 香港六合彩中特网?
Crazy Salad on Woburn Place (next to Russell Square) is a very nice, student friendly, and well-priced place to study or just chill with great food. I definitely advise paying a visit.
Give us your top three things to do/see/go to in London:
I鈥檓 a big foodie so I鈥檇 probably say Woody Grill in Camden next to Mornington Crescent Station听鈥� it has food for all dietary requirements. Sunrise in Primrose Hill is the classic stereotype for 香港六合彩中特网 students but it鈥檚 popular for a reason听鈥� definitely wake up early and go see it. Lastly, I鈥檇 say cycling from Warren Street past Parliament to the London Eye is very pretty, go and explore!
What鈥檚 one thing you鈥檇 like to see in a post-Covid world?
Through my experience with Merton Mutual Aid, I鈥檝e seen that a lot of families lack access to necessities such as laptops and tablets for online learning. I鈥檇 like to see more of a focus on this by the government and general awareness of this element of digital poverty.
Who inspires you and why?
I would say my grandfather. He came to this country with very little and has managed to secure an amazing future for his family听and I intend to in his spirit.
What would it surprise people to know about you?
I worked full time during law first year and I have a cat in my uni flat, Muffin.
