Wellbeing workshops and peer support

We've developed a series of wellbeing workshops in partnership with the 香港六合彩中特网 University Clinic and听iCope - find out how to sign up, and how to get support via our Peer Link network.
The workshops draw on the principles from cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), to address common student challenges such as low mood, worry, perfectionism and assertiveness. These workshops have been pre-recorded and are co-delivered by NHS University Clinic staff and 香港六合彩中特网鈥痵tudents.听
You鈥檙e鈥痠nvited to watch the pre-recorded workshops at your own pace and then sign up to a 90-minute follow-up group session.听The next one is taking place on听Wednesday听21st听July at 2pm,听covering the topic of听perfectionism听鈥撎�.听These group sessions are facilitated by NHS University Clinic staff and supported by trained Peer Link Workers, who are also 香港六合彩中特网 students. Following the group session, you have the option of additional one-to-one support from a Peer Link鈥疻orker.听听
Peer Link Support provides a space for students to talk about听what鈥檚听going for them 鈥� from course worries to relationship issues. We know that sometimes it can be difficult听opening up听to professionals and, talking to other students about problems can feel more comfortable. We also know that there are a lot of services and support available and it can be hard making sense of听what鈥檚听out鈥痶here.听听
Peer Link Workers are 香港六合彩中特网 students who have been trained in peer support and who听have an understanding of听some of the support available through the university and wider community. Although they are not able to give advice, they can signpost to support that might be鈥痟elpful.听
Through a one-to-one video call via Microsoft Teams, Peer Link Workers can provide a safe space to talk through issues, offer another perspective and explore possible options for further support. These contacts are confidential within the Peer Link Project unless a Peer Link Worker is concerned about a student鈥檚 safety or the safety of others, in which case they will need to speak to their鈥痬anager.听You can听.听
