Library services remain available, wherever you are based

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø strongly advises that you should not plan to travel to campus at present. Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Library Services will continue to support you wherever you are studying in the world by providing a wide range of online resources and services.

Some library buildings and study spaces will remain open for certain students (as detailed in the message from the Provost) and staff although onsite services will be reduced.

Online resources

We continue to provide a wide range of Ìý for all students and staff to access 24/7. You can also access essential reading through or request digitised chapters of our print books through the Library’s Scan and Send service.

If you have any questions or need more support with using online resources, you can contact Library staff through or access .

On-campus services

Some library sites remain open for those students and staff who need to work on campus (see those exemptions outlined in our 2 January announcement). These facilities are also open to those students who stayed in London over the winter break or who have already returned, who are advised to remain here and not travel home again.

From Monday 4 January you can in the Student Centre, Institute of Education Library, 1-19 Torrington Place, Ramsay Hall and Bidborough House.

Staff and students can also make Scan and Send requests and Click and Collect orders for items held at the Main, Science and IOE libraries, as well as request items from our stores.

Other library sites will be closed and on site services suspended.
