Organisers are asking nominators to review the proposed revised criteria for these awards.

The criteria incorporate amendments that have been proposed by the Honorary Degrees and Fellowships Committee.

It is expected that recipients of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Honorary Degrees and Honorary Fellowships will normally have, or have had, a close association with Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø, although for recipients of Honorary Degrees, this requirement may be balanced in certain cases by scholarly or intellectual excellence that is linked to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø's ethos and values.Ìý

In keeping with Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø's commitment to equality and diversity, the Honorary Degrees and Fellowships Committee would wish to invite members of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø community to give particular consideration to women and black and minority ethnic candidates for these awards. Ìý
