Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø staff are warned to stay alert as malicious emails are on the increase

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Information Services Division is asking staff to be cautious when reviewing emails as a result of an increase in malicious emails.

A number of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø departments have been disconnected from their shared drives for up to a week as a result of a staff member opening an infected email attachment. They also lost a few files permanently.

If an email looks at all suspicious, do not click on links in it, and do not open its attachments. Anti-virus will not protect your computerÌý against new viruses. If in doubt, please contact your IT support. You can also report malicious email to .
