BMESO brings BME networking event to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø

ebonyinspireduk.co.uk/" target="_self">Ebony Inspired, Shanell Johnson, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍøU Black and Minority Ethnic Students' Officer (BMESO) is proud to present Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø's first Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) networking event on Monday, 31 March, 2014.

The event will run from 6:00-9:00pm in the Haldane Room in the Wilkins Building (North Cloisters).Ìý

Tickets are £5 for Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø students, £10 for Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø staff and £15/20 for all other professionals. They can be purchased .Ìý

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍøU is the first students' union to have a full-time BMESO. The posting coincided with a decade-long push from the National Union of Students' Black Students' campaign to have a BMESO in every union.

Shanell Johnson is proud to deliver on her intention to create a space for BME networking, expressed at the beginning of the academic year.

This event aims to assist in the creation of an equal playing field among the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø community in order to fully promote the inclusivity, diversity and equality to which the university is committed.
