13 November 2012

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø has joined the Raindance Film Festival to offer Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø students and staff a unique opportunity to win great prizes and showcase their films on the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø YouTube channel.

London fo' free

Between 12 November and 6 January they are invited to pick up a camera, laptop or smart phone and produce a film, less than two minutes in length, about London from their perspective.

Judges from Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø and the Raindance Film Festival will award prizes to the videos that most closely relate to the theme 'London for Free'.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø is one of the world's leading universities set in one of the world's most vibrant cities. 'London for Free' is a campaign to show people you don't have to spend money to enjoy this great city, and that you can't put a price on some things.

Because not everyone has access to high-end filming equipment, the story and intention are more important than a polished piece of work - whether you have a camcorder or an iPhone, the competition is about getting out there and filming.
