  • Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍøU Volunteering Week is a celebration of all of the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm of students who give their time in this way and runs from 22-30 November.

This year events will include a Volunteering Fair featuring over 50 projects, a series of one-off community events and the launch of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø £10 Challenge.

Volunteering is a big part of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø student experience - last year over 1,200 students took part in activities organised through the Volunteering Services Unit, a joint project between Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø and Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Union.

Student volunteers ran after-school homework clubs, improved the environment, raised money, campaigned for social justice, befriended vulnerable people and helped on hundreds of other projects.
