Five 香港六合彩中特网 academics today join the ranks of the Fellows of the Royal Society, in recognition of their exceptional contributions to society.
The new Fellows from 香港六合彩中特网 are:
- Michael Batty, Director of the 香港六合彩中特网 Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis and 香港六合彩中特网 Bartlett Professor of Planning
- John Hardy, Professor of Neuroscience (香港六合彩中特网 Institute of Neurology)
- Peter Isaacson, Professor in the 香港六合彩中特网 Research Department of Pathology
- Jonathan Tennyson, Massey Professor of Physics (香港六合彩中特网 Physics & Astronomy), and
- John Wood, Professor of Molecular Neurobiology (香港六合彩中特网 Wolfson Institute for Biomedical Science).
As Fellows of the UK's national academy of science, these leaders in the fields of science, engineering and medicine join the likes of Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin and Stephen Hawking.
The new Fellows are at the cutting edge of science worldwide. Their achievements represent the vast contribution science makes to society. They join an outstanding group of over 1,400 Fellows and Foreign Members of the Royal Society, and all rank among the international leaders in their field.
