The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Bloomsbury Theatre is offering time in its schedule to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø staff and students for productions or presentations.

Every year, the theatre - which is wholly owned by Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø - allocates time to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø departments and student societies. During this time, most usage of the theatre is free, including use of the 531-seat theatre, and technical, front-of-house and box-office staff and facilities.

Currently, the times available for Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø departments are the weeks commencing 9 November 2009, 1 February 2010 and 8 February 2010. Alternative dates are also available for conferences and presentations. The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Union manages the process of allocation to student societies.

Peter Cadley, Director of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Bloomsbury, said: "Applications should consider the presentation or show itself, its value to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø and the wider community, involvement by staff and students and preferred dates. All bids should be endorsed by the bidder's head of department. The bidding process for next academic year will close on 27 April 2009."

Applications should be submitted in hard copy to Peter Cadley, though those who are considering applying are strongly encouraged to contact Frank Penter on tel. 020 7679 2981 (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø internal ext. 32981), or email him at frank@thebloomsbury.com, for an informal discussion prior to submission.
