Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø will hold a one-day colloquium on 'Shaping the curriculum for a global university' on 23 June 2009. The colloquium will bring together colleagues from across the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø community to explore how departments are developing curricula that are international in scope and which embody Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø's global citizenship principles.
The programme will include presentations from Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø staff on various approaches to the internationalised curriculum, opportunities for discussion and debate and a poster exhibition.
Internationalisation of the curriculum is an important strategic objective for Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø, and a key element of the Global Citizenship agenda. The term refers to the process by which Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø is developing its practice to ensure that students develop the attributes, skills and knowledge that will equip them for the demands of the twenty-first century.
For details on how to submit an abstract for a presentation and other information, follow the links at the top of the page (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø staff login necessary).
