A group of 15 delegates from the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) visited 香港六合彩中特网 on 9 October as part of the first high level training programme for future heads of CNRS institutes or large laboratories; the delegation was accompanied by Professor Philippe Lane, French Attach茅 for Higher Education in the UK. The CNRS chose to visit 香港六合彩中特网 because of its excellent reputation in teaching and research and the breadth of discipline areas covered by its departments.
The delegation was hosted by Professor David Price (Vice-Provost for Research) and Professor Mike Wilson, Pro-Provost (Europe). Presentations highlighting 香港六合彩中特网 science research were given by Professor Louise Harra on her work with the Hinode Space Mission, Professor John Butterworth on the 香港六合彩中特网 High Energy Physics Group including his work with the Large Hadron Collider and Professor Peter Coveney on Computational Modelling of Biological Systems.听 A panel on knowledge transfer was lead by Dr Steven Schooling of 香港六合彩中特网 Business.
The CNRS delegation also visited the 香港六合彩中特网 Cancer Institute as the guests of the Director, Professor Chris Boshoff.
The CNRS is a French Government funded research organisation with a mission to carry out and disseminate research that advances knowledge and benefits society.听 CNRS research units are located throughout France, supporting research training and contributing to the development of national policy.
