The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍøU Jazz Society will be performing 'The Bloomsbury Blues Brothers' in the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Bloomsbury Theatre on 8 November 2007.

Having won the award for the Best Student Production in last year's Garage Theatre Workshop with 'A Blues Brothers Tribute', the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍøU Jazz Society has now revamped the show for the big stage. Featuring classic numbers from the films 'The Blues Brothers' and 'Blues Brothers 2000', as well as a selection of material from when the Blues Brothers were a regular band on 'Saturday Night Live', 'The Bloomsbury Blues Brothers' retells the story of Jake and Elwood Blues, their band and their "mission from God".

The show runs for one night only on 8 November, at 7:30pm in the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Bloomsbury Theatre. Tickets are available from theatre's box office, or via 020 7388 8822. Students get a 20% discount when they buy tickets at the box office for both 'The Bloomsbury Blues Brothers' and Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍøU Jazz Society's other show, 'Unprotected Sax'.
