Description
Aims:
You will focus on the wider contexts of geographical learning, with an emphasis on developing a wider understanding of the reach of geography through conducting school-based action research into practice.
Outcomes:
You will:
- choose to investigate one of five themes and how they can contribute to learning in geography, or a more enhanced geographical understanding: Learning beyond the classroom, Information and Communications Technology, Assessment and Progression, Contemporary Issues, Differentiation and Inclusion;
- reflect on practice;
- choose one theme to investigate in depth, both in theory and school practice, to form your written assignment;
- research practice in your own context and reflect critically on the findings of that research.
