Description
This module will provide transferable research skills, set in the context of recent developments in the Financial Economics academic literature. It will consist of two parts. Part A will relate recent developments in Financial Intermediation and Regulation, and advances in Asset Pricing and Corporate Finance, to the existing literature and especially to seminal contributions to the field. Part B will be linked to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Finance Seminars (joint between the School of Management and the Department of Economics), where world leading experts come to present their current research (e.g., in 2018-2019, speakers came from institutions such as Yale, Berkeley, Chicago and Columbia, and included Nobel laureates).
