- Russian Level 2 (B) (SERS0103)
This module will train you in modern Russian language and follows on from Russian A. The module covers verbal aspect, further grammatical case endings (singular and plural), and expands the core vocabulary to about 1200 words, developing such spoken and written topics as 鈥淗ealth鈥, 鈥淔ood and Eating鈥, 鈥淔riendship鈥, and 鈥滷amily life鈥. The textbook is supplemented by additional materials including Russian news video clips, Russian cartoons and popular songs. Equal emphasis is paid to speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills. There are regular tests and students are expected to use on-line resources to reinforce their knowledge.
Students are required to take a Russian test to ensure that this level is correct, unless they have taken Russian A in the previous year.
