This module will firstly introduce the concept of pre-clinical research and model systems in biomedicine, from bacterial cultures, to lower organisms, small animals, large animals and finally man. Students will undertake the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Training Course (modules 1-4) to become fully trained for pre-clinical research, followed by tutorials to aid completion of forms required to obtain a Home Office Personal Licence.
