Description
Power and politics in global health introduces you to the ways in which global health is influenced by power, explores case studies, and provides analytical tools for examining the politics of global health. Starting from an understanding that health is influenced by structural, social, legal and political inequalities, you will be introduced to a range of methods, frameworks and tools to better understand global health decision-making. The module focuses particularly on how global health issues, ideas and institutions are shaped by politics and invites you to think about how the global health landscape can be negotiated and changed to promote health for all.Ìý

The module is compulsory for students on the MSc/PG Dip Global Health and Development, and is open to any other Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø MSc/PG Dip students.Ìý
