This module explores issues that are emerging in the 21st Century and why these may affect learning and teaching in formal educational settings.Ìý The most significant challenges facing executive leaders of education settings in the current century are the provision of a curriculum which accommodates the need to develop learners to deal with the impact of globalisation and the need to review the learning environment to incorporate use of portable digital devices and artificial intelligence (AI).Ìý
