Description

The module covers core concepts and research in individual differences – personality and cognitive abilities. It explores approaches to measuring, understanding, and explaining (i) individual differences, (ii) their biological and environmental determinants, and (iii) their effects on occupational, health, mental wellbeing, and other life outcomes.ÌýÌý

The first half of the module covers basic concepts, measurement issues, overview of models and research in intelligence and personality, and models and research on how biology and life experiences contribute to individual differences over the life span.

The second half covers individual differences models and research applied to specific populations.
