Description
This module will provide you with the skills and knowledge that will help you develop professional competencies and clinical reasoning skills which will inform your clinical practice in providing high-quality ophthalmic patient care. You will utilise the knowledge that you gained from the Anatomy and Physiology, Clinical Case studies and Research and Statistics modules to effectively and competently assess ophthalmic patients, carry out the relevant clinical investigations and elicit relevant information to form a differential diagnosis. You will use your research knowledge to explore new development in ophthalmic practice and adopt evidence-based practice. You will be able to explore professional and ethical issues and evaluate the roles of other healthcare professionals in providing holistic integrated care pathways to improve patient care.
