Mediacentral has a captions editor built into the system. It is best to upload and process your video file before editing the captions file.
How to edit your caption file in Mediacentral
Once you have received the email explaining that your video has been successfully uploaded you can return to Mediacentral.听
Click on听My Account
Choose My Content
You will then听see a list similar to this, choose the file you wish听to edit by听clicking on the听Pen听in a box听icon on the right-hand side of the panel.
This will bring up the Upload panel, so click on Associated Files and then听
- you will see the Pencil icon under the file name.
Click on the Pencil icon to start the editing process. Then a window like this will appear:
To start editing the text click on the video and you will see the arrow turn green.
In the right-hand panel click on the line of text you wish to edit. As you work through the captions, click on 狈别虫迟听to move to another line of text.
To move through the captions click on Next then when you have made the required edit click on听Continue
When working on a long听file you may find it advantageous听to save regularly so,听click on 贵颈苍颈蝉丑别诲.听This takes you back to the Associated file panel and all you need to do is click on the Pencil to restart editing.听
Once you have completed the edits听and corrections听to the text, click on Finished to save the changes, this takes you back to the Upload panel and then听click on Confirm听to complete the process
