Research Opportunity Scholarships awarded to FLS students

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø's Research Opportunity Scholarship (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø-ROS) is intended to support BAME postgraduate research degree students. Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø is running this scholarship in partnership with the Windsor Fellowship.
The scheme offers full financial support and a skills development programme, both designed to promote academia as a more attractive career option.Ìý
Research Opportunity Scholarships are part of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø’s Race Equity initiative. We are delighted to announce that this year, two FLS nominees have been awarded ROS scholarships.

Alicia Donoghue will join a research group led by Dr Vilaiwan Fernandes (CDB), after completing herÌýMSci in Biology at the University of Manchester. Sazia Rahman will join the 4-year PhD programme in Cell Biology (LMCB), after completing her MSc in Infection and Immunity at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø.
