The project, which kicked off in 2016, has involved faculty and staff from the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø School of Pharmacy, Medical School and Eastman Dental Institute.

The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø team have collaborated with their Newgiza colleagues in the planning, organisation, development and quality assurance of the three new programmes. Faculty development activities have run throughout, to ensure the programmes are run in an innovative, contemporary and student-centred way.

The project has paved the way for Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø’s ongoing collaboration with Newgiza University (NGU). We are supporting the university to become a beacon in medical education in the Middle East and North Africa.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø has also entered into a second collaboration to design and deliver two new undergraduate engineering programmes for NGU.

The original contract between the two universities was negotiated by Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Consultants, part of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Innovation & Enterprise.
