John Leitch of Kilmardinny

Biography

Glasgow West India merchant, co-founder of Leitch & Smith with Archibald Smith of Jordanhill. He appears to have died c. 1806; he settled his estate in 1804, was reported in 1856 to have left a legacy to the Glasgow Asylum for the Blind 'in 1806' and had disappeared from the Leitch & Smith partnership by 1807.
