London merchant and slave-owner on St Croix, purchaser in 1777 of the equity of redemption in the Bagatelle estate on St Vincent for 拢1750 sterling.
Will of John Bradshaw of St Dionis Backchurch, Lime Street City of London proved 23/09/1779. He left 拢20,000 to each of his two sons John and James, 拢3000 to his daughter Mary Teresa Hawkins, his 1/5th share in Blackburn Rectory to the younger children of his late sister Ann Croughton, and his residuary estate to his son Thomas Bradshaw.
In conjunction with his brother-in-law Nicholas Tuite (q.v.), John Bradshaw developed Sion Hill in St Croix in the 1760s.
