Two wills of Andrew Ramsay Karr of Kippilaw Roxburghshire appear in the PCC index at TNA, PROB 11/1319/225 (23/02/1799) and PROB 11/1339/193 (19/03/1800). Both list assets totalling 拢83,000, including the mortgage in Jamaica; his heirs were daughter Mary Sandiford and his sons Richard Ramsay and David Charles Ramsay.
