Natural daughter and co-heir of Hon. George Kinghorn (q.v.). She married George Griffiths in 1810: he appears to have died by the time of the 1841 and 1851 censuses, in both of which she was living with a lodger Charles James Beetson who was her executor in 1868 when she died late of Summer Hill Dartford Kent, leaving 拢4000 in personalty.

Jamaican-born widow of a prominent slave-owner; resident in Britain following the death of her husband in 1818. Accused - and acquitted - of the cruel treatment of some enslaved people whom she brought to Britain with her.

A cover note outlining the contents of the document.
