On the marriage of the future Lord Kilmaine with Eliza or Elizabeth Lyon, the daughter of David Lyon sen. (q.v.), the latter had advanced 拢29,000, and pledged at his death a further 拢11,000 to the couple and 拢10,000 to Elizabeth.
